The One Percent

“In top-level sport, it is the one-percent improvements,” says my favourite magazine Red Bulletin, “that can make the difference between winning and losing.” So it has been on my mind what those improvements might be. One aim is to put more focus on people than things, as we planned when chairmaker John Brown and I conceived Quercus, in 1996.
