Nick Gibbs has been privileged by having had a long a career as a magazine editor and publisher. He’s founded titles for sectors as diverse as sailing, woodwork, caravans & mountain biking, always for passionate enthusiasts. His latest launch has been Quercus, for readers who prefer working wood by hand, and in the past he has edited contract magazines for an NGO (The Cooling Network), a comms marketing business (Product Focus), a satellite launcher (Inmarsat), and a woodland owners’ association (SWA).
Nick is currently writing Me and My New Mind, a book following the quest of his recovery from a traumatic brain injury. He is studying for an MA in Cognitive Neuroscience and Neuropsychology at The University of London. He also gives talks about coping with a damaged brain, particularly for survivors of strokes and their carers
